Es una banda de New Wave británica de Liverpool que se elevó a la popularidad en la década de los ochentas.

Son mejor conocidos por su # 1 UK éxito "you Spin Me round (Like a record)", aunque la banda ha ganado su más grande siguiente en el Japón, donde han ocupado 18 hits en número 1 .

Los miembros de la banda han incluido los siguientes músicos:

Wayne Hussey (1982-1984): Uno de los primeros miembros de la banda, que escribió la mayoría de las canciones en 1982-1983, además de los Epic individuales y Misty Circles y What a Want (Lo que quiero). Hussey partió a principios de 1984 para unirse a las Hermanas de la Misericordia por un año, y luego formó The Mission a finales de 1985.

Mike Percy (1980-1990): Bajista. Percy se señaló por su peinado y lisas, junto a Lever, escribió la mayoría de los temas desde 1984 hasta 1990. Percy escribió y realizó el remake para la exitosa canción "You Spin Me Round (Like a Record)".

Steve Coy (1980-Presente): Fue el único miembro que ha de ser un buen amigo de Pete previo a la creación de bandas en 1980. Asimismo, el único miembro hetero del trio, Baterista de la banda.

El miembro más joven de la banda, Coy escribió la música para la banda, pero no ahondar en el mundo de las letras. A partir de 1996, Coy se hizo cargo de la tarea de producir los videos a partir de la cubierta de David Bowie "Rebel Rebel", el álbum de Nukleopatra.

Timothy Lever (1983-1990): teclados, saxofón, guitarras. Lever y guitarrista Mike Percy fueron responsables de la mayoría de los cantar para la banda.
Jason Alburey (1996-Presente): En el futuro sustituirá Percy y Lever en el departamento musical, Alburey fue instrumental en la formación de Dead or Alive de la modernización de sonido. Alburey aparece en el vídeo de 2003 de la reedición de "You Spin Me Round (Like a Record)", a pesar de no tener nada que ver con la canción en sí.
